Kerrie Thomason
Kerrie Thomason, a versatile talent hailing from Edinburgh, has made her mark as an actor, writer, and dancer. She graduated with First Class Honours in Musical Theatre from the Blackpool School of Creative Arts, honing her skills through extensive training with renowned organizations such as Free Association and House of Burlesque UK, as well as completing a clowning course led by Edinburgh Award nominee Elf Lyons.
Kerrie's career took off when she became the principal dancer in Tim Key's production ‘Single White Slut.’ Following a successful run at the Pleasance Grand, she toured the UK and made her West End debut at the Duchess Theatre. The show later traveled to the Melbourne Comedy Festival, where Kerrie reprised her role, leading to further collaborations with Key on various projects. She has also joined forces with notable comedians like Max & Ivan, Nish Kumar, and James Acaster.
In 2015, she co-founded the acclaimed comedy theatre company ‘Swipe Right Theatre,’ which has produced two five-star shows. Their debut, ‘2 Become 1,’ a 90s pop musical, achieved sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Festival for three consecutive years and enjoyed success with two sold-out performances at The Kings Head Theatre in London. The follow-up, ‘Scream Phone,’ a comedic horror musical directed by Edinburgh Award nominee Tom Parry, debuted in 2019, earning critical acclaim and leading to a UK tour and a transfer to Soho Theatre. On screen, Kerrie appeared in ITV's “The Investigator,” a British crime docu-drama that premiered in April 2018 and is currently available on Netflix.
