John Morrisey embarked on his journey in the film industry at the tender age of 18 when he secured an internship at a post-production company, where he began honing his editing skills. His dedication led him to a variety of roles in both production and post-production, allowing him to contribute to several acclaimed films. In addition to his technical expertise, John pursued acting for seven years under the mentorship of Sharon Carnicke, a Professor and Associate Dean of Theatre at USC. He continues to refine his craft with current studies under Steve Eastin, alongside his exploration of screenwriting.

In 1996, John took a significant step in his career by directing his first music video, showcasing his creative vision. He further expanded his repertoire in 2013 with the production and direction of the short film "American Bullies," which received attention for its compelling narrative. His collaborative spirit culminated in 2018 when he co-wrote and produced "Big Top Evil," demonstrating his versatility as a filmmaker.
