Violette Wautier
Violette Wautier (Thai: วิโอเลต วอเทียร์), born on October 10, 1993, is a talented Thai-Belgian singer-songwriter and actress, widely recognized as V (Thai: วี). She first garnered national attention during her participation in season 2 of The Voice Thailand, where her exceptional vocal talent captivated both audiences and critics alike. Violette holds a bachelor’s degree in Film and Photography from Chulalongkorn University, which laid a strong foundation for her artistic endeavors.
Her acting career took off with her film debut in Heart Attack (2015), a performance that earned her multiple accolades, including the Best Supporting Actress award at the Suphannahong National Film Awards and recognition from the Thai Film Directors' Association, Kom Chad Luek, and the Thai Film Awards. Violette has also showcased her acting skills in notable films such as A Gift (2016), Die Tomorrow (2017), and One for the Road (2021), the latter premiering at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival.
In the realm of music, Violette made a significant impact with the release of her first full English album, Glitter and Smoke, in 2020. The lead single, 'Smoke,' achieved remarkable success by topping the Apple Music Chart in eight countries.
