Rikako Aida
Rikako Aida (逢田 梨香子, Aida Rikako), born on August 8, 1992, in Tokyo, Japan, is a talented singer, actress, and voice actress, currently represented by Ken Production. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Riko Sakurauchi in the popular multimedia project, Love Live! Sunshine!! Before adopting her current stage name, she was known as Rikako Itō (伊藤 梨花子, Itō Rikako).
Rikako began her career in the entertainment industry around 2012, performing primarily in theater, television dramas, and films. Notable works from this period include her roles in “The Farmers Bride: 35 Years Old” and “I'll Give It My All ... Tomorrow.” Her journey into voice acting was inspired by her chance encounter with the anime Gintama, which ignited her passion for the medium. She made her voice acting debut in 2014 with the anime “Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart.”
In 2015, she rebranded herself as Rikako Aida, marking a new chapter in her career. Since then, she has continued to build her reputation in the industry, contributing her voice to numerous projects and solidifying her status as a sought-after talent in both acting and voice work.
