Emma Watts is a distinguished film executive and producer originally from Britain, known for her influential roles within major Hollywood studios. She embarked on her career at 20th Century Fox in 1998, starting as a creative executive. Her dedication and talent propelled her through the company, and by 2009, she had ascended to the position of President of Production. In February 2017, she was further promoted to Vice Chairman of Fox Film.

Throughout her influential tenure at Fox, Watts played a pivotal role in the production of numerous acclaimed films and blockbuster franchises. Notable projects under her guidance include Ridley Scott's The Martian (2015), the critically acclaimed Logan (2017), the groundbreaking Deadpool (2016), and the award-winning Bohemian Rhapsody (2018). She also rejuvenated significant franchises like Night at the Museum, Planet of the Apes, and X-Men.

Following the acquisition of Fox by The Walt Disney Company in 2019, Watts managed the transition to the newly branded 20th Century Studios. However, she chose to resign in January 2020, and soon after, she was appointed President of the Motion Picture Group at Paramount Pictures, beginning her new role in July 2020.
