Tanya Shahova

Tanya Shahova, a talented actress and playwright, hails from Sofia, Bulgaria. She completed her studies at the prestigious National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts (NATFA) "Krastyo Sarafov" in 1982, where she honed her craft in dramatic acting, guided by esteemed professors Nikolay Lyutskanov and Margarita Mladenova.

Throughout her career, Shahova has made significant contributions to the Bulgarian theatre scene, showcasing her versatility and passion for the performing arts. In 2018, she achieved notable recognition when her play "Five," in which she also stars, secured the top prize in a competition hosted by New Bulgarian University for new theatrical works.
