Ana María Orozco Aristizabal, born on July 4, 1973, in Bogotá, Colombia, is a celebrated actress known for her significant contributions to Latin American television. She is the daughter of renowned actor Luis Fernando Orozco and former radio announcer Carmenza Aristizabal, and she has two sisters: Veronica, an actress, and Juliana, a modern languages graduate who has chosen a different path away from the entertainment industry.

Ana María's passion for the arts has always been evident, with her free time often spent painting, reading, skating, and enjoying films. With a father deeply entrenched in the acting world, she was exposed to television from an early age. One of her breakout roles was as La Vera in the telenovela "Perro Amor," which earned her a Simón Bolívar Award for Best Supporting Actress and a Shock Award for Best Youth Actress, alongside a nomination from the TV y Novelas Awards.
