Brion Gysin
Brion Gysin (January 19, 1916 – July 13, 1986) was a British-Canadian artist whose multifaceted contributions spanned painting, writing, sound poetry, performance art, and innovative device creation. Gysin is perhaps most renowned for his pioneering use of the cut-up technique, a method he developed in collaboration with his close associate, the renowned author William S. Burroughs.
