Anne Schäfer
Anne Schäfer, born in 1979 in Munich, began her journey in the performing arts at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Zurich, where she honed her acting skills. She made her theatrical debut at the Schauspielhaus Zürich in 2005, which led to a significant engagement at the Landestheater Tübingen. There, she notably took on the title role in Goethe's "Iphigenia in Tauris." In the 2006/2007 season, she was a guest performer at the Theater Basel, and in 2008, she joined the permanent ensemble of the Bavarian State Theater in Munich. Her talent was recognized in 2009 when she received the Kurt Meisel Prize from the Association of Friends of the Bavarian State Theater.
In 2010, Schäfer transitioned to film with a role in the poignant comedy "Cindy Does Not Love Me," portraying a young woman juggling two romantic relationships. She continued to appear in various television series, including "The Mountain Doctor" and "SOKO 5113." Her performance in the film "Jasmine," directed by Jan Fehse, earned her a nomination for the Förderpreis Deutscher Film at the Munich Film Festival in 2011. Following this acclaim, she took part in numerous television productions, including a pivotal role in the feature film "The Beloved Sisters" (2012-2014) and as Commissioner Sophia Mückeberg in "SOKO Cologne" from 2013 to 2016. After leaving "SOKO Köln," she appeared in romantic comedies such as "Doctor with Side Effect" (2017) and "When Women Move Out" (2017), and showcased her versatility as a clever hacker in the action comedy "Hot Dog" in early 2018.
