Megha Sandhu
Megha Sandhu (born July 20, 1996) is a Canadian actress and model recognized for her contributions to the entertainment industry.
Raised in Montréal by Indian immigrant parents, Sandhu gained prominence when she was named Miss Teenage Canada in 2012. Her pageantry achievements continued as she secured third place at the Miss Universe Canada competition in 2018, and claimed the title of Miss International Canada in 2019. This success led her to represent Canada at the 59th Miss International pageant held in Tokyo, Japan, where she finished in 23rd place.
Sandhu's artistic background includes training in classical ballet, modern dance, and Indian classical dance. She holds a diploma in Behavioural Neuroscience, complemented by a minor in Theatre.
Before landing her role in Star Trek, Sandhu featured in the 2021 Lifetime romantic comedy film An Ice Wine Christmas, alongside actors Patrick Kwok-Choon, Maria del Mar, and Nick Name. In 2022, she took on a role in the independent drama film Arranged Marriage, where Kavi Raz portrayed her father.
That same year, she appeared in the holiday-themed romantic TV movie Mistletoe Time Machine. Additionally, Sandhu made guest appearances on popular series such as Hudson & Rex, Pretty Hard Cases (with Daniel Kash), and the miniseries Painkiller, which included performances by Sam Anderson, John Ales, Kyle Gatehouse, and Lisa Auguste.
