Borromeo's cinematic journey commenced in 1976 with a role in the film "Lezioni di violoncello con toccata e fuga," which set the stage for his burgeoning career. In 1979, he gained significant attention for his portrayal of 'Germano' in the comedic film "Ups and Downs of a Super Stud" (Pensione Amore Servizio Completo), directed by Luigi Russo. His versatility as an actor was further showcased in 1980 when he starred in Deodato's ensemble thriller, which solidified his status in the genre.
