Naura Hayden, born Norah Helene Hayden on September 29, 1930, in Los Angeles, California, was a multifaceted American actress and author, recognized for her diverse contributions to the entertainment industry. She was the daughter of John Hayden, a reporter for the Los Angeles Times, and a descendant of notable literary figures, including her aunt, Phyllis McGinley Hayden. A long-time resident of New York City, Naura's career spanned several decades and fields, including acting, modeling, and writing.

At the age of 19, Naura gained attention as a photo model, gracing the pages of the December 1949 issue of Glamorous Models magazine. In 1955, she embarked on a promotional tour across 68 cities for Mercury automobiles, which significantly raised her profile. By 1958, she was deemed the "perfect Wilson girl" by columnist Earl Wilson and soon after began performing in the Canadian musical Li'l Abner, leading to television appearances in series like 77 Sunset Strip and Bonanza. Her notable commercial work included promoting RCA Color TV in the early 1960s.

In addition to her television roles, Naura starred in the 1959 science-fiction film The Angry Red Planet and authored several books, including the best-selling How to Satisfy a Woman Every Time, which sold over 500,000 copies by 1992. Other ventures included hosting the radio show Naura's Good News and managing restaurants in Manhattan. Naura's vibrant career was complemented by her marriages to restaurateur John Harrison, television executive Gary Stevens, and attorney Theodore Geiser. She passed away on August 10, 2013, leaving behind a legacy of creativity and influence.
