Aylam Orian

Aylam Orian, pronounced Eiy-lahm Or-yahn, was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to Israeli parents with a rich heritage spanning Polish, Russian, and Romanian roots. Shortly after his birth, his family relocated to Israel, where Orian embraced his artistic inclinations through painting, sculpting, photography, and guitar playing. Following 4.5 years of military service, he pursued his passion for the arts by enrolling in the Film School at Tel Aviv University. His short film, *A Nightmare on Bialik Street* (1994), a clever nod to the iconic Russian film *Battleship Potemkin* (1925), garnered multiple awards and was showcased at the Cannes Film Festival.

While working on his films, Orian discovered a passion for acting and returned to the United States in the early 2000s to refine his craft at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, as well as The Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York. During his time at the Strasberg Institute, he was entrusted with organizing and preserving Lee Strasberg's extensive collection of acting materials, a role he maintained for nine years before transitioning to teaching.

Orian made his television debut in the A&E mini-series *Between the Lines* (2004) alongside notable figures like Robert Downey Jr. He later starred as a fugitive in the Fox series *America's Most Wanted: America Fights Back* (1988) and took on leading roles in various projects, including *Beautiful World...* (2006) and the CBS film *In God's Name* (2007). After moving to Los Angeles, he secured guest roles in popular series such as *Code Black* (2015) and *NCIS: Los Angeles* (2009).
