Anu Lamp

Anu Lamp, born on March 29, 1958, in Tallinn, Estonia, is a multifaceted talent renowned for her work as a stage, film, and television actress, as well as a voice actress, director, translator, and educator.

Lamp completed her secondary education at Tallinn 7th Secondary School (currently known as Tallinn English College) in 1976. She then pursued philology at the University of Tartu from 1976 to 1978, before shifting her focus to acting. Under the tutelage of Aarne Üksküla, she honed her craft at the Tallinn State Conservatory (now the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre), graduating in 1982 alongside notable peers such as Margus Oopkaup, Jaan Rekkor, Laine Mägi, Sulev Teppart, Andrus Vaarik, and Viire Valdma.

In addition to her artistic endeavors, Lamp has made significant strides in academia. In June 2016, she earned a master's degree in theology from the Institute of Theology of the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church, showcasing her commitment to lifelong learning and spiritual growth.
