Jossi Wells has made his mark in the world of freestyle skiing with his iconic zero spins, demonstrating that simplicity and style are paramount in halfpipe, slopestyle, and big air competitions. His unique flair has garnered him a devoted following, proving that while style may not always lead to victories, it certainly captivates fans. With a distinctive black-and-white aesthetic on social media, a passion for custom motorcycles, and a remarkable Olympic performance where he executed a zero spin throughout the jump section, Jossi has carved out his own niche in the sport.

Born the eldest of four brothers in New Zealand, Jossi's journey began at the age of two on the slopes of Cardrona, where his parents were deeply involved in the skiing community. He transitioned from ski racing to freestyle and, at just 16, became the youngest competitor at the Winter X Games in Aspen, having earned his entry by busking with his violin outside a grocery store. Over the years, he has amassed multiple medals at the X Games, including a gold in slopestyle, achieved just two years after recovering from a serious neck injury. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Jossi showcased his versatility by competing in both slopestyle and halfpipe, finishing fourth in the latter.

Currently, Jossi is honing his ski mountaineering abilities and aspires to conquer some of the world's most formidable peaks, all while training rigorously for the 2022 Olympics in pursuit of gold once more.
