Neerja Naik is a talented British actress who honed her craft at the prestigious Drama Centre London after earning her degree from Cambridge University. Recently, she garnered the Best Actress award at the C-Fem Fantastic Film Festival in Murcia, Spain, for her compelling portrayal of Annji in the feature film AWAIT FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS, directed by Johnny Kevorkian. Her powerful performance in SOLD, which was recognized as a Best of Festival selection at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, showcased her as Anita, a trafficking survivor under the direction of Jeffrey Brown.

Neerja has also made her mark in the film industry with notable roles such as Pari, an Afghan biker chick in HACKNEY'S FINEST, directed by Chris Bouchard, and Tuli Banerjee in LIFE GOES ON alongside Bollywood legends Om Puri and Sharmila Tagore. On the small screen, she has appeared as a guest lead in popular BBC series like Casualty and Doctors.

Her stage work is equally impressive; she received critical acclaim for her portrayal of Hermia in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, directed by Sir Trevor Nunn, which completed his remarkable journey through all 37 of Shakespeare's plays. Neerja made her debut at Shakespeare's Globe as Indamora in THE CAPTIVE QUEEN and participated in workshops with acclaimed director Peter Brook for THE PRISONER at The National Theatre Studio. Additionally, she was directed by Kathryn Hunter in the play UNTOUCHABLE, where she played the role of the freedom fighter Deorao.
