Lara Binamé, a Montreal native, boasts a rich heritage that encompasses British, Belgian, and Scottish roots. Growing up in a household of first-generation immigrants, both of her parents made their mark in the film and television industry, which undoubtedly influenced Lara's creative aspirations.

Launching her career as a freelance copywriter in advertising, Lara simultaneously cultivated her passion for storytelling through an online magazine that celebrated unconventional thinkers. Her work as a writer and photographer showcased her unique perspective, while her directorial projects focused on comedic narratives and themes of social inclusivity, reflecting her commitment to diverse representation.

In 2016, Lara relocated to Toronto to further her acting ambitions, immersing herself in the vibrant arts scene. Her talent and determination led her to establish Riveride Pictures in 2023, a production company dedicated to creating innovative and impactful content.
