Bruce Mackinnon

Bruce Mackinnon, born on October 17, 1978, is a talented actor and writer renowned for his contributions to both television and film. Hailing from Esher, Surrey, he received his education at Eton College before pursuing drama at The University of Manchester. Mackinnon's career took off as part of the comedy duo "Mat and Mackinnon," alongside Mathew Horne.

He has made notable appearances in several acclaimed television programs, including the hit series *The Office* (UK), *The Catherine Tate Show*, *Smack the Pony*, and HBO's historical drama *Rome*. His filmography features significant roles in movies such as *The Life and Death of Peter Sellers*, *The Duchess*, and *Vanity Fair* (2004).

In addition to his acting, Mackinnon has demonstrated his writing prowess on various shows, contributing to *The Catherine Tate Show*, *Alistair MacGowan*, and *Johnny Vaughan*, as well as writing for Dara Ó Briain's *Live Floor Show*.
