Mel Lisboa
Mel Lisboa Alves is a prominent Brazilian actress and television presenter, widely recognized for her portrayal of Anita in the acclaimed miniseries "Presença de Anita," which aired in 2001. Born to astrologer Cláudia Lisboa Alves and musician Bebeto Alves, Mel is also the cousin of comedian Rafinha Bastos. Initially pursuing a degree in cinema at the Universidade Federal Fluminense in Niterói, she decided to leave her studies to focus on her acting career.
Mel made her acting debut in 2001 with "Presença de Anita," a role that catapulted her into the limelight due to its provocative nature. The series garnered impressive ratings, leading to a rebroadcast in 2002. In 2002, she appeared in the soap opera "Escolhas de Mulher" as Gabriela, a character that did not achieve the same acclaim, prompting her to reflect on the challenges of typecasting.
