Rena Sofer
Rena Sherel Sofer, born on December 2, 1968, is a distinguished American actress celebrated for her extensive work in daytime television, guest roles in episodic series, and performances in made-for-television films. A highlight of her career came in 1995 when she won a Daytime Emmy Award for her compelling role as Lois Cerullo on the iconic soap opera General Hospital. Since 2013, Sofer has captivated audiences as Quinn Fuller on CBS’s popular show The Bold and The Beautiful.
Hailing from Arcadia, California, Sofer is the daughter of Susan Sofer, a psychology professor, and Martin Sofer, a rabbi rooted in Conservative Judaism. Following her parents' separation, she moved to Pittsburgh, where she was raised. Rena attended the Frisch School, a Jewish high school in Paramus, New Jersey, and later graduated from North Bergen High School in North Bergen, New Jersey, where her father served as rabbi at Temple Beth El. She began her higher education journey at Montclair State College.
