Spencer Rayshon Stevenson is an emerging talent in the film industry, poised to make a significant impact with his upcoming role as 'Paris' in the eagerly awaited 20th Century Studios film "Rosaline." This modern comedic twist on Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" features a remarkable ensemble cast, including Kaitlyn Dever and Minnie Driver, and tells the story from the perspective of Romeo's overlooked ex-girlfriend, Rosaline. Stevenson's impressive filmography also includes notable performances as 'Quinn' in "Rollers" and 'Paul' in "Never Goin' Back," which starred Maia Mitchell and was showcased at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. In addition to his film work, Spencer has appeared on popular television series such as "The Purge," "Mindhunter," "Solve," and "One Mississippi."

A native of Irving, Texas, and raised in Grand Prairie, Spencer’s passion for performance ignited at an early age. He participated in his elementary school talent show at just eight years old and landed his first role in a musical by age nine. His dedication led him to join his middle school’s competitive theater team, prompting him to pursue acting more seriously. Spencer trained at DTV Studios for Acting in Film/TV, where he continues to refine his craft.

While in high school at South Grand Prairie, he secured representation and began to land roles in commercials and public service announcements. Spencer also honed his skills as part of the Varsity Speech and Debate Theatre Team. Encouraged by a friend, he auditioned for Texas State University’s esteemed BFA Acting program, gaining acceptance and graduating in spring 2019.
