Tahliah Debrett Barnett, widely recognized as FKA twigs, was born on January 16, 1988, in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England. The daughter of a Jamaican father and an English mother with Spanish roots, FKA twigs has emerged as a multifaceted artist, excelling as a singer, songwriter, dancer, record producer, director, and actress.

At the age of 17, she relocated to London, where she initially made her mark as a backup dancer.
