Betty Bonifassi

Béatrice "Betty" Bonifassi, born around 1971, is a prominent French vocalist residing in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Known for her rich contralto voice, often described as "masculine," her singing style has drawn comparisons to legendary artist Shirley Bassey. Bonifassi's musical repertoire is diverse, spanning genres such as jazz, traditional music, blues, and electronica, and she performs in both English and French.

Her career took a significant turn in 2003 when she gained worldwide recognition by voicing the lead characters in the acclaimed animated film *Les Triplettes de Belleville*.
