Lloyd Griffith
Lloyd Griffith is a multifaceted English talent hailing from Grimsby, known for his work as a comedian, actor, presenter, and singer. He gained recognition as a presenter on the popular Sky Sports program Soccer AM, a role he held until the conclusion of the 2018–19 season.
Before stepping into the comedy scene in 2010, Griffith honed his musical skills as a classical choral singer at the University of Exeter. His comedic journey began with stand-up performances, leading to his appearance in the comedy short Inheritance and on the BBC Radio 1 Comedy Lounge in 2014. Notably, he served as a tour support act for well-known comedians Rob Beckett and Jack Whitehall prior to 2019.
Griffith made his television debut on BBC Three's Taxi to Training, where he conducted interviews with professional footballers, including Troy Deeney, Asmir Begovic, and Dele Alli, while driving them to training sessions. His diverse television appearances include shows on BBC, Sky TV, and Comedy Central, such as Drunk History, Rugby's Funniest Moments, and Sweat the Small Stuff. In recent years, he has been a familiar face on Comedy Central's Live at The Comedy Store, Roast Battle, and E4's 8 out of 10 Cats. Additionally, Griffith has showcased his acting skills in the NBC comedy Ted Lasso, as well as in series like Not Going Out, It's a Sin, and Bounty Hunters.
