Jason Tobin

Jason Tobin, born in Hong Kong, has a rich cultural heritage, being of both English and Chinese descent. He received his education at King George V School in Kowloon. Despite his early shyness, which kept him from participating in school dramas, he discovered his passion for acting at the age of 18. This revelation occurred while he was preparing to return to the UK for a law degree, leading him to pursue a career in the performing arts instead.

Tobin has built a diverse filmography, appearing in more than twenty films and numerous television shows. One of his most notable roles is that of Eddy Tsai in the gripping Asian American thriller *Chink*, directed by Stanley Yung and written by Koji Steven Sakai, with production by Quentin Lee. The film also features performances by Eugenia Yuan and Tzi Ma, and Tobin's portrayal earned him significant recognition. At the 2013 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, he was honored with the "Best Actor" award, or alternatively, recognized for "Breakout Performance for an Actor," highlighting his talent and impact in the industry.
