Nathan Crowley, born on February 28, 1966, in Islington, North London, is a renowned English production designer and former art director, celebrated for his significant contributions to cinema, particularly through his partnerships with filmmaker Christopher Nolan. Over the course of his illustrious career, Crowley has received six Academy Award nominations for Best Production Design, recognizing his exceptional work on acclaimed films such as The Prestige (2006), The Dark Knight (2008), Interstellar (2014), Dunkirk (2017), First Man (2018), and Tenet (2020).

In his Oscar-nominated projects, Crowley collaborated with various talented set decorators, including Julie Ochipinti for The Prestige and Peter Lando for The Dark Knight, while teaming up with Gary Fettis for Interstellar and Dunkirk, and Kathy Lucas for First Man and Tenet. In addition to his Academy Award nominations, he has been nominated five times for the BAFTA Award for Best Production Design, with nods for Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight, Dunkirk, and First Man.
