Nancy Kyes
Nancy Louise Kyes, born on December 19, 1949, is a retired American actress who is better known by her professional name, Nancy Loomis. She gained recognition for her collaborations with renowned director John Carpenter, most notably for her role as Annie Brackett in the iconic horror film Halloween, released in 1978. Kyes also appeared in Carpenter's earlier work, Assault on Precinct 13, in 1976, as well as in The Fog in 1980. She reprised her role as Annie Brackett in the sequel Halloween II, which came out in 1981. Her last appearance on film was in Halloween III: Season of the Witch in 1982, where she took on a different character.
Throughout her career, Kyes made a significant impact in the horror genre, particularly through her notable collaborations with Carpenter, contributing to the legacy of some of his most celebrated films.
