Joe Bucaro III
**Joe Bucaro III: A Journey from Dreams to Stunts**
Born and raised in Park Ridge and Wheaton, Illinois, Joe Bucaro III spent his formative years dreaming of a life in the film industry. His passion was ignited at the tender age of eight when he witnessed Evel Knievel's daring motorcycle jumps at the Chicago amphitheater. By thirteen, after viewing the classic film *Hooper* in theaters, he was resolutely determined to become a Hollywood stuntman.
Joe's early career took him through various jobs, ultimately discovering his talent in sales. He thrived as a food broker, specializing in door-to-door sales of steak and seafood across the Chicagoland area. However, the call of the stunt world was too strong to ignore. In 1988, when a stunt school opened in Chicago, Joe eagerly seized the chance to pursue his childhood dream. He dedicated himself to mastering the art of stunts while gaining invaluable experience as an extra on film sets.
His perseverance paid off when he landed a significant opportunity to double for action star Steven Seagal, propelling him into the world of professional stunts. Since that breakthrough, Joe has worked alongside Hollywood legends such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Will Ferrell, John Cusack, Jeff Goldblum, David Hasselhoff, Dan Marino, and Vince Vaughn. His talent has not gone unnoticed; Joe has been nominated twice for the World Stunt Awards and has clinched two Emmy Awards for outstanding action sequences in television.
