Krzysztof Czeczot
Krzysztof Czeczot is a distinguished Polish actor, director, and producer, recognized for his contributions to the performing arts. He earned his doctorate from the prestigious Acting Department of the Łódź Film School, where he now imparts his knowledge as a faculty member. In 2013, Czeczot founded Osorno, a sound production company renowned for its work in audio-visual projects, commercials, and audiobooks.
His creative portfolio includes several theatrical works and a libretto for Jacques Offenbach’s operetta, La belle Hélène, which premiered at Opera Krakowska and Opera na Zamku in Szczecin. As a radio playwright, Czeczot has achieved critical acclaim, with his productions being honored at the Two Theatres festival in Sopot. Notably, his groundbreaking audio drama, Andy, garnered the Best European Radio Drama of the Year award in Berlin, marking a significant milestone as the first Polish radio project to receive such recognition.
Currently, Czeczot is engaged in an ambitious endeavor, leading Europe’s largest radio project, the superproduction Biblia Audio, which aims to feature an impressive ensemble of five hundred actors. His innovative approach to storytelling and dedication to the arts continue to leave a lasting impact on the cultural landscape.
