Ella la Cour, originally named Eleonora Caroline Møller, was a prominent Danish actress who made significant contributions to the performing arts in Denmark. In 1908, la Cour transitioned to film, making her cinematic debut with Nordisk Film. Her personal life also garnered attention; in 1876, she married fellow actor Charles Dornonville de la Cour. Although their marriage ended in divorce, she chose to retain the la Cour surname, which became synonymous with her illustrious career.
