Alan Uribe Villaruel
Alan Uribe Villaruel embarked on his artistic journey in 2002 while pursuing a degree in Computer Science at the National Polytechnic Institute. Seeking to secure a scholarship for his academic achievements, he joined the Theater workshop offered by the institute. The allure of the performing arts captivated him, leading to a significant shift in his career path; after 18 months, he made the bold decision to leave his computer science studies and enroll at the Escuela Nacional de Arte Teatral.
During this transformative period, Alan also embraced his identity, coming out as gay amidst challenges related to family acceptance. His passion for theater flourished, and he has since established himself as a prominent figure in the performing arts scene. Since 2018, he has been a valued member of the stable cast of the National Theater Company, contributing his talent and dedication to numerous productions.
Over the years, Alan has garnered recognition for his compelling performances and has become an influential voice within the theater community. His journey reflects not only his artistic commitment but also his resilience in navigating personal challenges, making him a notable figure in contemporary Mexican theater.
