Emily Anne Ashby is an American actress, hailing from Corvallis, Oregon, born on August 30, 1988. She is related to the esteemed Olympian Dave Johnson, who earned a bronze medal in the decathlon at the 1992 Summer Games. Her initial foray into acting was through the well-known 1992 Reebok advertisement campaign "Dan and Dave." While she initially pursued a theatrical education and participated in various stage productions, she ultimately discovered her genuine enthusiasm for film.

Emily made her on-screen debut in Lifetime’s Jingle Belle in 2018, as well as appearing in the television series Dwight in Shining Armor the same year. She subsequently secured a leading role as "Marley" in the adventure film Night of Adventure, released in 2019. Additionally, she portrayed "Dolly" in the feature film They Live Inside Us, which was selected for the Official Filmquest 2020 and earned a nomination for Best Ensemble Cast. Following this, she featured in the movie American Murder and took on the lead character Kaitlin in the upcoming film 10/31 Part III, set to premiere in 2022.
