Lauri Lagle

Lauri Lagle, born on February 12, 1981, in Tallinn, Estonia, is a prominent figure in the Estonian performing arts scene, recognized for his work as both an actor and a director. He completed his formal education at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, graduating in 2006 under the guidance of instructor Priit Pedajas.

From 2006 to 2013, Lagle was associated with the Estonian Drama Theatre, where he showcased his acting talent while also taking on directing responsibilities. His versatility allowed him to contribute significantly to various productions during his tenure. After leaving the Drama Theatre in 2013, Lagle embraced the freelance landscape, continuing to hone his craft as an actor and director until 2019.

In October 2019, he assumed the role of artistic director at the Von Krahl Theatre, one of Estonia’s most celebrated theatrical institutions. Under his leadership, the theatre has continued to innovate and engage audiences with diverse and thought-provoking performances.
