Deric Augustine

Deric Augustine, born just two minutes before his identical twin brother Deven, hails from New Orleans, Louisiana, where he was raised by his parents, Donna and Deric Augustine. The twins embarked on their acting journey in 1991, gaining initial experience through print and catalog work under their mother’s supervision. However, when tragedy struck with Donna suffering a hemorrhagic stroke during Deric's freshman year at Northwest High School in Opelousas, Louisiana, he paused his acting aspirations to care for her.

Faced with significant medical expenses, Deric shifted his focus towards academics and athletics, excelling as a standout football player at the University of New Orleans. He pursued a diverse curriculum, particularly thriving in Theatre/Film and Marketing, ultimately earning his Bachelor's degree. With a strong educational foundation and a rekindled passion for acting, Deric made the decision to dedicate himself fully to his craft.

His commitment has led to significant opportunities in recent years, including a notable role in the feature film *When The Game Stands Tall*, which is set to be released in 2014. Deric's journey reflects resilience and dedication, showcasing his ability to balance personal challenges with his aspirations in the entertainment industry.
