Rika Hoshimi, born on September 20, 1990, in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, is a distinguished former AV idol, gravure model, and actress. She began her career as a centerfold model before making her video debut in May 2010 with the gravure release "Emanechio," filmed in Bali.
In September 2011, Hoshimi transitioned into the adult video (AV) industry, marking her debut with "AV Decision," produced by Muteki, a label known for its celebrity adult video launches. She followed this with her first release at Idea Pocket, titled "First Impression Rika Hoshimi," on January 1, 2012, under the direction of Tadanori Usami. Hoshimi became a prominent exclusive actress for Idea Pocket from 2012 to 2014, also featuring in the compilation "IP PLATINUM GIRLS COLLECTION 2012," showcasing her alongside other notable AV actresses.
In 2013, she expanded her repertoire by starring in Haruhi Oguri's youth drama "Bad Communication," and appeared in titles such as "Schoolgirl Blackboard Jungle" and "Undressing Mahjong Gakuen Z."
