Landon Ashworth, a distinguished filmmaker, honed his craft at The Tisch School of the Arts. Before embarking on his cinematic career, he traversed an unconventional path that included roles as an airline pilot for United, a drummer for the renowned Gavin DeGraw, and a Skymaster 337 captain with NOAA, where he participated in vital whale protection missions.

Landon's entry into the film industry found its catalyst in a fortuitous friendship with a casting director who lived next door. Inspired by this connection, he began creating his own films, leading to an impressive output over the next six years that included more than 100 digital comedy shorts, music videos, and short films, alongside several sitcom pilots. He also demonstrated his versatility as a writer, penning eight feature-length screenplays.

One of his notable achievements is the feature script for "Costmart," which garnered accolades for Best Original Screenplay at both the BigStar Film Festival and the Tampa Bay Film Festival. Additionally, Landon gained significant recognition for his performance as Mitch Yancey on the hit television series "Castle," marking a pivotal moment in his acting career.
