Dinos Iliopoulos (Greek: Ντίνος Ηλιόπουλος; 12 June 1913 – 4 June 2001) was a distinguished Greek actor renowned for his extensive contributions to both film and theater in Greece. Born in Alexandria, Egypt, he spent his early years in Marseille, where he completed his secondary education. In 1935, at the age of 22, he moved to Greece, where he pursued studies at the Berkshire High Commercial School in Athens and honed his acting skills at the Drama School of Giannoulis Sarantidis.

Iliopoulos made his theatrical debut in 1944 at the Katerina Andreadi Theatre, performing in Leo Lenz's play "Lady I Love You." His cinematic journey commenced in 1948 with the film "100,000 Pounds." In 1963, he took a significant step in his career by establishing his own theater, Gloria, located on Ippokratous Street in Athens, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit.

Over his prolific career, Iliopoulos appeared in more than 70 films, often in leading roles. His performance in the 1956 film "O Drakos" (The Ogre of Athens) earned critical acclaim, with the Greek Film Critics Association recognizing it as one of the ten greatest Greek films of all time. Notable films featuring Iliopoulos include "Ziteitai Pseftis," "Thanasakis o Politevomenos," "Makrykostaioi kai Kondogiorgides," and "My Friend Lefterakis," solidifying his legacy as one of Greece’s most beloved actors.
