Bukky Bakray

Bukky Bakray, born in 2002 in Hackney, East London, is a talented British actress and writer who has quickly made a name for herself in the entertainment industry. She gained widespread recognition for her remarkable performance in the film *Rocks* (2019), which marked her debut. At just 18 years old, Bakray became the youngest recipient of the BAFTA Rising Star Award, and she was also nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role, showcasing her exceptional talent early in her career. Her accomplishments earned her a spot on the 2021 Forbes 30 Under 30 list.

Raised in a vibrant household with Christian Nigerian roots, Bakray attended Clapton Girls' Academy and Cardinal Pole Catholic School.
