Nelli Vladimirovna Uvarova, born on March 14, 1980, in Mažeikiai, Lithuania, is a celebrated Russian actress known for her dynamic performances in both theater and film. With a Russian father and an Armenian mother, Uvarova pursued her passion for the arts at the prestigious All-Russian State University of Cinematography, where she honed her skills in acting.

Her film career took off in 1999 with her appearance in the acclaimed movie "Boomer," but her debut came with Anna Melikyan's "Let’s Fly," which earned her the top prize at the International Institute Film Festival. Uvarova's talent was further recognized with the St. Anna Prize for her role in the short film "On Demand."

In 2001, she joined the Russian Academic Youth Theatre, where she showcased her versatility in roles such as Dorothy in "The Wizard of Oz" and Natalie Herzen in "The Coast of Utopia."
