Öykü Karayel, born in Istanbul in 1990, is a prominent Turkish actress renowned for her captivating performances on both stage and screen. Growing up alongside her twin brother Ezgi, Öykü graduated from Cemberlitas Girls High School before pursuing her passion for acting at the Istanbul University Conservatory, where she enrolled in the Theater Department. Her artistic journey took her to London for a five-month exchange program, enhancing her theatrical skills.

Öykü's professional debut came in 2010 when she portrayed Ayse in "Güzel Seyler Bizim Tarafta," a production written and directed by Berkun Oya, which earned her recognition at the 16th Sadri Alisik Cinema and Theater Awards, winning both the "Efes Special Award" and the "Theater Critics Association Young Talent Award."

From 2011 to 2013, she gained further acclaim for her role in the popular series "Kuzey Güney," acting alongside notable stars such as Kivanç Tatlitug and Zerrin Tekindor. In 2015, she starred in the film "Bulanti," a poignant story about a man coping with the loss of his family, featuring a talented cast including Zeki Demirkubuz.
