David Anthony Higgins

David Anthony Higgins, born on December 9, 1961, in Des Moines, Iowa, is a prominent American comedic actor celebrated for his distinctive roles in television. He is perhaps best known for portraying Craig Feldspar on the critically acclaimed sitcom *Malcolm in the Middle* and the eccentric Mr. Bitters in *Big Time Rush*.

Higgins, who is the sibling of comedian Steve Higgins, gained significant recognition after being cast as the outspoken barista Joe in the revamped version of *Ellen* in 1995. His career spans various genres and formats, showcasing his versatility as both an actor and a writer. He co-created and starred in *The Higgins Boys and Gruber*, and collaborated with notable writers Jay Kogen and Dave Foley on the film *The Wrong Guy*, where he also starred alongside Foley.
