Maanuv Thiara

Maanuv Thiara is a talented and award-winning actor and creative, hailing from the West Midlands. He honed his craft at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where he graduated in 2016. Since embarking on his professional journey, Maanuv has made a significant impact across various platforms, demonstrating his versatility as an actor.

His recent television appearances include notable series such as LANDSCAPERS on HBO, LINE OF DUTY for the BBC, and the acclaimed TED LASSO and Varsity on Apple TV. He also featured in DI RAY on ITV, a performance that earned him a nomination for the RTS Midlands Award for Best Actor.

On stage, Maanuv has captivated audiences with his performances in THE FATHER AND THE ASSASSIN at the National Theatre and THE CHERRY ORCHARD produced by English Touring Theatre.

In addition to his acting, Maanuv has made waves as a writer. He triumphed in the National Theatre’s “New Views” Competition, leading to the production of his play, 8 WEEKS, at The SHED. He holds the position of Associate Artist with RIFCO Theatre Company and has also produced a short film titled “BAMBINO” through Bigger Pictures Productions. With a burgeoning career, Maanuv continues to push boundaries in both acting and writing, solidifying his place in the arts.
