Peter Stormare
Peter Stormare, born on August 27, 1953, in Arbrå, Gävleborgs län, Sweden, is a versatile actor renowned for his contributions to film, television, stage, and music. He gained significant recognition for portraying John Abruzzi in the acclaimed series *Prison Break* and for his role as Gaear Grimsrud, one of the kidnappers in the Oscar-winning film *Fargo*.
Stormare's acting journey began at the Royal National Theatre of Sweden, where he honed his craft for over a decade. In 1990, he took on the role of Associate Artistic Director at the Tokyo Globe Theatre, directing notable productions of Shakespeare's works, including *Hamlet*. In 1993, he relocated to New York to expand his repertoire in English-language theater. Today, Stormare continues to thrive in both the United States and Sweden, currently residing in Los Angeles with his wife.
