Peeter Oja
Peeter Oja, born on July 2, 1960, in Tallinn, is a multifaceted Estonian performer known for his work as an actor, singer, comedian, and media figure.
Oja completed his education at the Tallinn State Conservatory, graduating from the Stage Art Department in 1986. Following his studies, he spent three years at the Vanemuine Theatre from 1986 to 1989, before moving to the Estonia Theatre, where he performed from 1992 to 1994. Since 1994, he has operated as a freelance actor.
In addition to his acting prowess, Oja has been a part of various musical ensembles, notably the Kuldne Trio and Bläck Rokit.
He gained widespread recognition as the host of several beloved television programs, including "Kitsas king" from 1985 to 1987 and the comedy team Kreisiraadio, which he was part of from 1997 to 2003. Notably, he represented Estonia in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 with Kreisiraadio. Oja's television work also includes the show "Ärapanija," which aired from 2003 to 2013. Throughout his career, he has taken on significant roles in various feature films, solidifying his status as a prominent figure in Estonian entertainment.
