Ben Addis

Ben Addis is a talented Welsh actor celebrated for his performances in both theater and television. Born in Blaenavon, he honed his craft with the Gwent Young People's Theatre (GYPT) in Abergavenny and the National Youth Theatre of Wales before training at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

His extensive theatre repertoire features prominent roles in productions such as *Rock and Roll* at the Duke of York's Theatre, *King Lear* with the Royal Shakespeare Company, and *Never So Good* at the National Theatre. Additionally, he has graced stages at the Manchester Royal Exchange in *Antigone* and *Widower's Houses*, and performed in *Cinderella* at Warwick Arts Centre and Lyric Hammersmith, as well as *Eurydice* in collaboration with ATC, Plymouth Drum, and Young Vic.

In film and television, Addis has appeared in the ITV series *Lewis* and was featured in Martin Scorsese's acclaimed film *Hugo*. In February 2020, he took on the role of Dr. Parker in the Channel 4 soap *Hollyoaks*.

Most recently, in August 2023, he joined the cast of ITV1's *Emmerdale* as Craig Reed, a character who has sparked significant attention due to a controversial storyline involving Lydia Dingle.
