Nathaniel Chaplin "Nathan" Brown, born on May 20, 1988, in Hershey, Pennsylvania, is an accomplished American actor and director. His career took off with a prominent role in the 2009 psychological thriller "Enter the Void," directed by the acclaimed Gaspar Noé. The film garnered significant attention, earning a nomination for the prestigious Cannes Palme d'Or, and featured Brown alongside actress Paz de la Huerta.

Raised in a home-schooled environment by his mother until the 10th grade, Nathan is the middle child in a family of five, with one older sister, Hannah, and two younger sisters, Elizabeth and Abigail, as well as a younger brother, Wells.

In 2007, he made his way to New York City, where he was discovered by casting director Barbara Pfister and began a brief modeling career during Fashion Week. After modeling for two seasons, he shifted focus to acting, landing the lead role in "Enter the Void." Following this, Nathan appeared in a Barneys New York advertising campaign alongside Gabe Nevins, photographed by Nick Haymes.
