Murat Akkoyunlu began his theatrical journey with Bursa Tobav Gençlik Tiyatrosu, where he honed his craft before moving on to perform with esteemed companies such as Bursa Devlet Tiyatrosu, Tevfik Gelenbe Tiyatrosu, Tiyatro Ti, Tiyatro Çisenti, and Bugay Yapım Prodüksiyon Tiyatrosu. His involvement in the performing arts expanded when he joined the e.s.e.k. ensemble, participating in the production of “godot’yu izlerken” and later starring in “üçüncü türden yakın ilişkiler.”

Akkoyunlu has also made a significant mark on television, appearing in popular series such as “Bizimkiler,” “Koltuk Sevdası,” “Cesur Kuşku,” and “İki arada.” His versatility extends to children’s programming, having created content for TRT.
