Gary Piquer is a Catalan actor with roots in Glasgow, born to a Scottish mother and a Catalan father. His performance in the film "Prince Orsini: A Bad Day for Fishing" earned him the Silver Astor Award for Best Actor.

Fluent in both Spanish and English, Piquer has had the opportunity to work across various countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and Spain. He honed his craft by studying Dramatic Arts at Douglas Webber's House in London.

On television, Piquer gained significant popularity through his role in the TVE series "Ala... Dina!" and has also appeared in other productions such as "The Prince of Viana" and "Fire." Furthermore, from 1993 to 1999, he was involved in an English language training program initiated by the Ministry of Education called "That's Inglés," which helped him earn a certificate from the Official Language School in a distance-learning format.
