Rhea Seehorn
Deborah Rhea Seehorn, born on May 12, 1972, is a distinguished American actress and director, widely recognized for her role as Kim Wexler in the critically acclaimed series Better Call Saul, which aired from 2015 to 2022. Her performance earned her two Satellite Awards for Best Supporting Actress and a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television.
Seehorn grew up in a family connected to the military, with her mother serving as an executive assistant for the United States Navy and her father working as an agent in the Naval Investigative Service. This nomadic upbringing took her across various states and even to Japan. Initially drawn to the visual arts, she pursued studies in painting and architecture, ultimately graduating from George Mason University in 1994 with a Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art.
While attending college, Seehorn developed a passion for acting, spurred by encouragement from her acting instructor. She immersed herself in the theater scene in Washington, D.C., landing roles in local productions while juggling other jobs. Over the years, she gained attention in television, often portraying sharp-witted characters reminiscent of her idol, Bea Arthur.
In addition to her notable television work, Seehorn is set to star in Vince Gilligan's upcoming series, Pluribus, which was greenlit for two seasons by Apple TV+ in September 2022 and is scheduled to premiere on November 7, 2025. Through her career, Seehorn has consistently showcased her talent, leaving a lasting impact on the industry.
