Ariel Besse

Ariel Besse, also known as Ariel Besse-Atanoux, was a talented French actress born on October 7, 1965. She made her cinematic debut at just 15 years old in Bertrand Blier's acclaimed 1981 film *Beau Père*, where she played a leading role. This early exposure to the film industry sparked both interest and controversy; her parents took legal action against the film's distributors for the unauthorized use of a provocative poster showcasing her image, although they ultimately lost the case.

Besse garnered further recognition for her performance as Aline in the 1982 film *Mora*, solidifying her place in French cinema. However, after a handful of film roles, she chose to step away from acting and transitioned to a different life, becoming a mail carrier for La Poste while raising three children.

In 2004, she made a brief return to the screen with a guest appearance in the French TV series *La Crim'*, reminding fans of her talents after a long hiatus. Sadly, Ariel Besse passed away at the age of 56 on May 29, 2022, at her home in Flayosc, Var, leaving behind a legacy that reflects both the challenges and triumphs of her early career in the spotlight.
